  1. Chet over Vader. Leon "Vader" White is one of the most underrated World Champs in the history of the business. For a man of his size, he had the agility of much smaller men. However, the character "Vader" from BMW doesn't hold a candle to the one and only Chet Hunter. Chet was larger than life in more ways than one. Everything he said and did just felt as big as his personality. He owned the screen every time he was on the show. This one was exactly as easy as it appeared.

Katy over Mrs. Svorski: I think outside of Riley and Maya themselves, the best addition to the BMW/GMW universe has been Katy Hart. I really love this character and how she's she's been presented. All the credit in the world to Cheryl, who has brought Katy to life. Can't wait to see where they take her.

Lenny over Smakle: Coin Flip. That's all I got lol.

    1. I don't understand how Vader can hope to compete with Lenny. A flavor of the month pro wrestler that was a cheap shot at a celeb cameo vs. Blake Clark? No way!

    2. I assume you mean Chet here, not Lenny.

And Vader's not really supposed to compete with Chet. The 'better characters' were all given weaker opponents via seeding. That's why the Top 8 were given byes, and people like Turner, Amy, Crazy Hat, Jack, had pretty weak opponents.

    3. This way, all the big characters should be around in the end and won't have taken each other out in the early rounds.

  2. Chet, Katy and Smackle.

Vader was cool and all, but if Ben Savage wasn't such a wresting fan, he would never had been on in the first place, and no one likes a bully. He even backed down to Feeny in The Thrilla in Philla, what a wuss. While no one may have liked the way Chet lived his life, least of all Shawn, he was a colorful character and he showed he loved his kids. I also loved his vocal twang.

Katy is a great character and Cheryl a very good actress. It is always a pleasure to see her in an episode. Mrs. Svorski was a good character and Cloris Leachman is wonderful, but we didn't get enough of her for her to win in this matchup.

I took Isadora over Lenny because every time the actor was on one of the shows, he was playing a different character, none of whom where important. Smackle will undoubtedly be a recurring character for a while and she is a great foil to Farkle.

    2. Hi five for Smackle. I really didn't expect this outpouring of love for Lenny

    3. Lenny is the best character in the show

  3. Willie Garson's character from Meets Popular is credited under a different name than Lenny...though I like Christian's idea that every character is just Lenny jumping from life occupation to life occupation.
BTW check out Little Manhattan Willie slays in it (not literally).

  4. Chet. Lenny (I have a soft spot for him. His role made Alan feel a lot more multi-dimensional in Season One). Katy.

  5. Leonard Spinelli is my jam. I would've liked to see more of him.

"Oh, boy. Ok, let's recap. Your father says there was no game but knows there was one. You know there was a game but you don't want your father to know you know. Well let me ask you this - don't you think he knows you know he knows you know you know he knows, you know? ...You've got to excuse me, I'm on painkillers."

  6. Can only speak to Katy vs. Mrs. Svorski, which doesn’t seem like a fair fight.
Katy is my favourite adult character on the show. As written and performed, she is the most consistently adult of the adults. Pairing her with Topanga tends to blunt the sharpness, though.

It is a safe bet that Cloris Leachman will be the most gifted artist to appear on the show. The role had to have come first and was cast per normal. I would hate to think they got her first then thought up this. And her credits include an appearance on Hot in Cleveland, so it is not as if this was beneath her. She just seems to like to work. It was still a waste.

  8. Chet, Katy, Lenny.

The first two are obvious. Nothing against Vader or Svorski, but neither leave as much as an impact as thier competition.

Lenny's is the greatest story never told. From nuerotic assistant manager to saintly
priest, to self absorbed and cynical lawyer. What exactly happened to this guy?!?!
